If you have questions, contact the Membership Chairman at the email address found on the Membership Application form.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Currently Boat storage privileges limited to Flying Scot, MC Scow and Wayfarer Classes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>FULL MEMBERSHIP:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Voting Members<\/li>\n<li>Racing privileges<\/li>\n<li>Boat storage privilege<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Full Membership provides an individual and\/or family with full use of the club. Full Members include spouse or partner, and children up to age 20 on September 1 of the current fiscal year. Full memberships are entitled to one vote per family. Members are encouraged to participate on all levels of activities during the year.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Non-voting Members<\/li>\n<li>Participate\/volunteer for Club activities<\/li>\n<li>No boat storage privileges<\/li>\n<li>No racing privileges<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Associate Members are permitted use of the dock and club for launching their sailboat. However, no overnight\/regular storage of sailboat is permitted. Associate members who do have sailboats are encouraged to join as Full Members and participate in club racing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Non-voting members<\/li>\n<li>Able to participate as crew\/sailor in adult club racing<\/li>\n<li>Racing privileges<\/li>\n<li>Boat storage privileges<\/li>\n<li>Participate\/volunteer for Club activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Junior Members are non-voting members under the age of 20 on September 1 of the current fiscal year. They are not required to pay the initiation fee. Upon reaching age 20, a Junior Member may upgrade to a Full or Associate Member without incurring the initiation fee, as long as there has been no break in membership continuity. Junior Members are encouraged to participate and assist in Race Committee\/regatta activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>REGATTA MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Non-voting member<\/li>\n<li>No Initiation Fee<\/li>\n<li>Regatta Boat Storage privileges -MC Scow Only &#8211; contact LESC SEC dbjleather@gmail.com<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lescfl.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/LESC-Regatta-Membership-Application-FINAL-2025-26-.pdf\">Regatta membership application form download<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Participants of the Regatta Boat Storage Program will pay a fee for boat storage between regattas. This program is intended for persons whose intention is to participate in regattas from November through March. Participants cannot reside in Florida full-time, or on a seasonal basis. This program is only available to persons whom the Board of Directors feels meets the spirit of this program and to whom the Board of Directors grants permission. Boat storage is on a space-available basis. Boats will be stored with mast down to facilitate movement and more compact storage.
